The meaning of our name

A name chosen for imagination

Chithkala is a name of the Divine Mother in the Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam. It speaks of the inner spark of consciousness that supports creativity and imagination. Our founders felt it was the right name for a school, and we try to live up to it every day.

The Chithkala promise

Learning that shapes a lifetime

Marks fill a report card. What a child learns to become fills a life. Every Chithkala child leaves with four things that last.

  1. CuriosityThe habit of wondering, asking why and finding answers. It powers every lesson that follows.
  2. CharacterHonesty, respect and kindness, practised daily until they become second nature.
  3. BelongingKnown by name and noticed every day. Children who feel safe learn bravely.
  4. ReadinessFirm foundations in reading, numbers and reasoning, so middle school feels like a natural next step.

Today's teachers, tomorrow's tools

Our teachers recently took part in a hands-on workshop on AI tools for the classroom. They explored how technology can help plan lessons, prepare activities and explain ideas in fresh ways.

When teachers keep growing, so do their students.
